ZEGLA HILLSIDE

The character of our wine is rooted in the tradition of our ancestors, just like our vines, rooted into the soil cultivated by our fathers.
The terroir of Zegla, a hill facing SE, protected by the Alps from the cold northern winds ,with its marl and sandstone soil, Ponka, is blessed and unique.

Our 15 hectares of terraced vineyard are densely planted with Gujot-trained vines resulting in low yields and high quality grapes.
Our working methods and treatments are respectful of the vines.
Harvesting is hand made by a selective picking of the mature grapes.
Vinification is performed by modern technologies.
